Jr Concours 2026
Jr Concours 2026
The Petersen Junior Concours is a design challenge by Petersen Education for youth in grades K-12 to explore automotive design history and share their creative ideas. Each year, the event has a specific theme that all entries must follow. Participants can join onsite Build Days, which focus on themes like The Design Process, Perspective Drawing, and Scale Models. During these sessions, staff and volunteers provide lessons and lead crafting activities to provide a framework upon which participants can build their entries for the competition. Basic supplies are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own materials. To participate, entrants must purchase a ticket, which includes admission for one youth and one adult to all Build Days and the final showcase. The program concludes with the Junior Concours Showcase at the Petersen Automotive Museum, where entries are displayed and considered for prizes.
